Saturday April 2nd 2005This years Clean Ocean Flounder Tournament kicked off
another season in the usual early Srping fashion. This is always a rain or shine
event and there is no entry fee, some years bring more fish to the scales than
others. Due to the cold, windy, rainy weather, only a few ventured out, but
those that did and weighed in were rewarded. The annual event held at Bahrs
Landing, was run by Derry Bennet the president of COA, he worked the scale as 4
entrants were able to vie for $500.00 in prize money.
