On Saturday, September 30, 2006 participate in the fifth annual Twin Lights Ride where 1routes from 15- 100 miles offer cycling opportunities for bicyclists of varying skills and ages. Rides start and end in Highlands, near the Gateway National Recreation Area, overlooking New York Harbor. Routes take cyclists through a series of small towns, ocean views, woodland areas and farmlands through Monmouth County, New Jersey. Rides are fully SAG supported and end with a festival at Highlands, New Jersey with music, food, local exhibitors and a chance to meet your fellow cyclists. Pre-registration is recommended. About Bike New York Bike New York is a non-profit organization that promotes and encourages bicycling and bicycle safety education through education, public events and collaboration with community and government organizations.
